Meet Viola – A Gentle Soul With a Goofy Streak Viola is a beautiful young GSP who is equal parts sweet, curious, and delightfully goofy. She’s been blossoming in her foster home, showing off her loving nature, gentle energy, and a growing eagerness to explore the world. Whether she’s watching birds from the window, “helping” in the garden, or trotting alongside you on a walk, Viola is happiest when she’s near her people and soaking up the sounds and scents around her. Viola enjoys twice-daily walks, prefers dirt paths to sidewalks, and is at her best when she has access to open spaces and plenty of nature. She’s learning cues like “sit,” “stay,” and “come,” and she’s starting to understand fun tricks like “boop” (a gentle nose tap to your hand!). She has a soft spot for Kongs, antlers, and stuffies, and loves relaxing near the window or checking in on the neighborhood birds. When she’s feeling extra playful, she enjoys romping with her foster dog sibling, Maverick. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Viola was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Viola’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Viola’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Viola’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
