Meet Kai – Your Loyal, Smart, and Lovable Companion! Kai is an affectionate and intelligent pup who is eager to learn and bond with his person. In just a short time, he has formed a deep connection with his foster, proving he is ready to be someone’s devoted best friend. He picks up training cues quickly, knows “come,” “let’s go,” and “sit,” and is improving his leash manners. He’s also working on house-training and crate-training. Kai is an energetic dog who thrives on regular exercise and mental stimulation. He currently enjoys 2-3 walks a day but would love even more activity to help build his confidence and work off his puppy energy. His favorite pastime? Destroying any toy you give him (in the most entertaining way possible)! What Kai Needs in a Home: A committed adopter willing to continue his training and provide structure, patience, and love. A family who can help him build confidence, especially around new dogs and when left alone.♂️ Plenty of exercise and enrichment to keep his mind and body active.❣️ A person or family who will shower him with love while reinforcing boundaries to help him feel secure. Kai is a work in progress, and has so much potential! With love, routine, and reassurance, he will blossom into a fantastic companion. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kai's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kai was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kai’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kai’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kai’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
