ABOUT LUNA: Luna is a tripod pup with a huge heart and a happy spirit. She doesnât let having three legs slow her down one bit. She settled into her foster home with another dog and four cats. Sheâs social, confident, and always ready to greet new people with a tail wag.Sheâs fully potty trained, loves car rides (with a little help getting in), and enjoys her daily walks. Luna prefers a steady pace and takes short breaks to rest before continuing. Around new people sheâs relaxed and friendly, while with new dogs she can get a little barky and excited, often pulling to say hello. Sheâs not aggressive, just curious, and does best with slow introductions.Luna knows several commands, responds well to recall, and loves being close to her people. Once she knows you, sheâll happily give kisses and will nudge you toward the perfect scratch spot. She would do best in a home with rugs or carpet to help her get around comfortably, and a yard to explore would make her even happier. Ask a volunteer to show you my foster survey!

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, LUNA's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and LUNA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, LUNA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the LUNA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, LUNA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
