About this Cat
Meet Tom Tom — scrappy, street-smart, and full of swagger and charm. With his striking silver coat and confident strut, Tom Tom made quite the entrance when he showed up one day at a school in South LA. He navigated the playground like he owned it—but the resident cats weren’t thrilled with the newcomer. It was clear he wasn’t going to find peace there. So, he did what any savvy survivor would do—he retreated across the street and found a quiet apartment building. A safe porch. A patch of sun. A place where no one chased him off. He claimed it like a king claiming his throne. And for now, it’s where he waits. But a porch isn’t a forever home. Tom Tom needs a place where he can truly settle in, where he’s not just tolerated—but loved. A home with gentle voices, soft beds, and someone to remind him that he doesn’t have to be scrappy anymore. He’s already got the charm—and that gorgeous silver coat. Now he just needs the chance. Will you be the one to give Tom Tom the home he deserves?

Please begin the process of claiming Tom Tom's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tom Tom was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tom Tom’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tom Tom’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tom Tom’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
