About this Dog

Lily was rescued a little less than 2 months ago from the Coachella animal campus shelter right before she was to be redlined. She was born on 3/14/2024 and is a very loving, sweet girl who became fearful and insecure in the shelter. She has blossomed in her foster home and loves to lie down on the sofa with her foster Mom wrapping her arms around her for hours. Stretches full out upside down on her back and nestles her head on your shoulder or lap. She loves to quietly play with her toys and gnaw on her bones. She was so excited when she got her very own pink plaid dog bed! She loves to cuddle in it. She was just spayed and microchipped and is up to date on her shots. She weighs 49 lbs and is thought to be a greyhound, whippet, pittie mix and maybe Weimaraner. She can run like the wind, but walks nicely on a leash. Lily is shy at first, but will quickly give you unconditional love. If you have recently lost your beloved pet she will help heal your heart. She is not totally housebroken yet having come from the shelter environment but her foster will pay for private training. Lily has been through a lot but has maintained a cheerful disposition. She thumps her tail while awake and asleep. She would be best as an only dog to run with you, walk, or be a couch potato. Or be best friends with another mellow dog. She was in the shelter with 2 other dogs and her first rescue for 5 days with her 3 other dogs. I do not know how she is with cats. She was evaluated by Nathalie G. Who said she was an excellent dog who could be easily trained. I really need a beautiful home for this very special girl. She has such a loving heart.

How will Lily receive the contribution?

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lily, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Lily's contribution here.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lily was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lily’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

What happens to unclaimed funds?

We want the Lily’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lily’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
