Meet delightful Delilah! Delilah was rescued from the Long Beach Shelter where she was sadly owner surrendered due to her not being able to pass her babies naturally (she had to have an emergency C). Delilah was rescued by GreenDog Foundation and her babies were raised and have been since adopted out. Delilah is now spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations (including Rabies) and is ready to find her forever home. Delilah gets along with everyone. She is very friendly and loving and absolutely ADORES belly rubs. She gets along with all the other dogs here at the ranch (I think spending time here has been good for her, because she has opened up with the other dogs and can now be seen playing with them!). Delilah loves car rides and cuddling up with you. Delilah weighs 55 pounds which is the perfect weight for her. She has no health concerns at this time (this breed can have skin issues). She is potty trained, leash trained and would love to find a home where she will be adored. Adoption fee is $500. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Delilah was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Delilah’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Delilah’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Delilah’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
