About this Cat
Hello, my name is Sam and I've been fostering Baby, a nine year old black haired female cat for five years. I have two chosen adopted cats (Tiger and Eragon) that I adopted in 2012 and 2015 before I fostered baby. I kept baby because I could not find her a forever home. Due to my circumstances I am no longer able to care for Baby, even though I love her very much and this breaks my heart. I'm hoping that you can find a forever home for her with the family or person that loves her as much, or more than I do. Baby is a very sweet cat however I believe she should be in a home with no other pets. She's very affectionate with her humans, but finds it difficult to get along with my other two cats. She tolerates them and they tolerate her but she starts fights with them every so often, some of which have gotten pretty bad. I am no longer working and Tiger is on very expensive prescription food, which means all three cats are on the same expensive prescription food. This combined with the fact that she's become increasingly more combative with my other two cats, and my lack of employment has made me come to the realization that I can't be her forever home. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Baby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Baby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Baby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Baby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Baby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
