About this Dog
Meet Darling Dolores – A Royal Treasure Dolores came to us from the Inland Valley Humane Society, and she’s been charming hearts ever since. This dainty 14-pound diva may be small in size, but her personality is absolutely grand. At 10 years young, Dolores is a sassy senior with a few age-related quirks. She has corneal edema in both eyes, a grade 4/6 heart murmur, and luxating patellas. She’s already seen a cardiologist who confirmed that no heart medication is needed at this time, though regular monitoring is advised. The shelter gave her a dental, so her smile is radiant and her breath is fresh! Benign mammary masses were also successfully removed. When Dolores first arrived at her foster home, she was understandably nervous and needed some extra time to decompress. With patience and slow introductions, she now gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. Dolores appreciates her personal space and carries herself like the true Queen she is—gracious but firm about her boundaries. She overcame a stubborn case of Giardia (twice!) and is now healthy and thriving. While her medical history might sound like a lot, don’t be deterred—Dolores is truly a delight. Once she warms up to you, she becomes a devoted and affectionate companion. Dolores is a true debutante with impeccable manners. She’s house-trained, uses the doggie door like a pro, rides beautifully in the car, and never jumps on people. Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, she’s ready to rule a new castle. Is your home fit for a Queen? If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and slightly regal lady to share your life with, visit www.bostonbuddies.org and fill out an adoption application. Adopt Dolores and Receive Dolores's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dolores's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Dolores's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dolores, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dolores's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dolores was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dolores’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dolores’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dolores’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
