About this Cat
He’s a tuxedo twin. Both have their left hind leg is amputated at weeks of birth. They need a place where they can be free but not get hurt. I live in a room I rent from an unstable elderly lady who complains about noise and threatens to evict. I’m looking for a new place but everything says no pets allowed. I worry if I take him to the shelter he will be put down because they are over run with cats. Figaro is rambunctious, scratches at the door to get out climbs the window and claws at his crate when I have to crate him. I’ve tried playing games and tire him out and it doesn’t work. He wants out. I take him outside sometimes but due to his disability I can’t leave him. He and his sister need a cattery that’s safe for them to play in. I love him and his sister more than anything. I’m sad I won’t have them with me. And have considered putting them down because of the situation and because they require medication for nerve pain I can’t afford. I hate for them to live in pain and I feel awful if they are sad if I drop them off somewhere else like a shelter. Where I won’t know their outcome. I pray you can help. I would much rather they go to a place where they will be loved and cared for as much as I do.

How will Figaro receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Figaro, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Figaro's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Figaro was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Figaro’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Figaro’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Figaro’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
