About this Cat
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. CORA HALE, her mom NATALIE MARTIN and her 4 siblings (KIRA YUKIMURA, THEO RAEKEN, LIAM DUNBAR and MALIA TATE) were rescued from the a backyard. Rescue mama was called that the neighbors were not being kind to the little family. So a trapper went out and trapped the family and brought them to our rescue. With all the chaotic rescuing going on in the summer, we were not able to get out kittens into our regular clinic. We were offered a different clinic and we made the appointments. To our dismay 7 of the 18 cats sent to this clinic ended up in the emergency room. CORA HALE was one of them. Her incision opened and were were able to save her. Our little CORA HALE has been through so much tragedy at such a young age. She deserves a wonderful home that will love her and want to give her a TRUE FUREVER home. Meet CORA HALE, a shy and sweet orange and white tabby from a quiet corner of the world, whose timid nature is perfectly balanced by her love for fun and food. CORA HALE is the kind of cat who needs a little time to warm up, but once she feels safe, her quirky side really shines. You’ll often catch her hissing at first, but don’t let that fool you—she’s just a little hesitant at the start. With patience and understanding, CORA HALE becomes the sweetest companion, especially when she’s surrounded by her favorite things: catnip, treats, and a good can of wet food. CORA HALE's love for catnip is nothing short of legendary—once she gets a whiff, it’s like a switch flips, and she’s ready for all the crazy antics that come with it! Her playful side also comes out when you toss a toy her way; she’ll chase and bat it around like the happiest little kitty. But what really brings her joy is having a fellow feline friend around. CORA HALE absolutely thrives in the company of other cats, and she would benefit from having a friendly, confident cat to help her feel more secure and comfortable in her new surroundings. A cat companion who can show her the ropes and help her build confidence would make all the difference in her journey. CORA HALE would do best in a quiet, loving home where she has a bit of time to acclimate and get used to her new family. A patient pet parent who understands the value of giving her space when she needs it, and gently encouraging her with treats, play, and a little love, will see her blossom into the affectionate and playful companion she’s meant to be. Adopt CORA HALE and Receive CORA HALE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, CORA HALE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is CORA HALE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the CORA HALE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming CORA HALE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and CORA HALE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, CORA HALE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the CORA HALE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, CORA HALE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
