About this Dog
Available in Sacramento area- Meet Jabarkus! Born February 25, 2025, Jabarkus is a French Bulldog puppy with a true underdog story — and a big heart to match. When Jabarkus came to us at just 4 weeks old, he couldn’t even stand or walk, struggling with "swimmer puppy syndrome" due to poor early care. With time, love, and the right therapy, Jabarkus beat the odds — not only walking but now leading the pack! He's the first of his litter to master climbing stairs — and he does it with pride. Jabarkus is still waiting for the "ear fairy" to grant him his signature Frenchie ears, but honestly, it just adds to his irresistible charm. His attitude is perfectly balanced — sometimes he’s full of playful menace, getting into harmless trouble, and other times he’s the ultimate snuggle bug, melting into your arms for a nap. A few fun facts about Jabarkus: Overcame early physical challenges with grit and determination. First of his litter to climb stairs — no mountain too high for this boy! Sporting the cutest soft ears while waiting for them to pop. Sweetly split between mischief and mellow — the best of both worlds. Ideal home: Jabarkus would thrive with someone who appreciates both sides of his personality — playful but tender. He would love having a playful sibling (dog or human!) to keep him busy, and someone who can cheer him on as he continues growing into the amazing boy he’s becoming. If you're looking for a little fighter with a lot of love and a sparkle of mischief, Jabarkus is ready to steal your heart (and probably your socks too!). ADOPTION FEE: $950 Foster-to-adopt: Due to the incidence of IVDD in french bulldogs, we will not be altering the babies and think they need to be more mature before spay and neuter. The puppies have been dewormed and received their first vaccines. Further vet care, including spay and neuter, will be the responsibility of the adopters. However, until the dogs are altered, it will be considered a foster situation, if they are not altered in the time period determined, they will need to be returned to us (and we will make sure). Frenchies are cute, but with all breeding we believe only papered dogs with clear dna testing should be bred and as such we are strict that these puppies are pets only. We recommend with all bulldogs that you get insurance.

Adopt Jabarkus and Receive Jabarkus's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jabarkus's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Jabarkus's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jabarkus, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Jabarkus's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jabarkus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jabarkus’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jabarkus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jabarkus’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
