About this Dog
**Zino is a mixed breed dog, so while he does not shed, we cannot guarantee he is allergy-friendly.** Get ready for some fun! Zino is about a year old, and he is a fluffly bundle of energy who is the perfect mix of zest and affection. He absolutely loves cuddles and will jump right into your lap for a snuggle session, but he is also an on-the-go guy who loves his long walks and playing fetch. He would thrive with an active family who also wants a loyal buddy to join them on the couch after a long day. Zino is fully grown and weighs just over 10lbs. Zino came to us from a local shelter after he was found as a stray with a super matted coat. He was in lots of pain and didn't want to be handled, but now that he is shaved, he wants to be pet ALL the time and has really blossomed in his foster home. While Zino may be small, he has lots of energy and is a blast to hang around. We have learned that he loves to play fetch and could play all day if you let him. He can be a little shy when he meets new people, especially men, but once he trusts you, he will want to always be in your lap or follow you around wherever you go. He would be a great adventure buddy for someone who needs a compact sidekick. Zino is still learning his basic manners like, sit and down, so he will need a family committed to helping him learn. Zino has done well with other dogs and would love to have another playful pup in his new home. Due to his rambunctious nature, he likely would be too much for an older or mellow dog. He could also be a great only dog - more attention for him! Zino has done well meeting dog-savvy cats, and could do well living with them with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Zino could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 12 years and older. Zino seems to be housetrained and has been doing well with his crate training. He has done well being left alone for a few hours during the day and sleeping through the night in his crate. Due to Zino's fur type, he requires frequent brushing and routine professional grooming to maintain his coat. Zino is such an adorable little guy, and we can't wait for him to find his fur-ever family! If you think that might be you, submit an application today! Zino's adoption fee is $350. Apply to adopt here! https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/ Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org) It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. Adopt Zino and Receive Zino's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Zino's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Zino's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Zino, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Zino's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Zino was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Zino’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Zino’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Zino’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
