About this Dog
Oh, how we LOVE Remy! Remy is about 4-5 months old and is the epitome of a big personality in a little package. There truly are no dull moments with him around, and he will keep you on your feet with his sassy back talk and endless goofy antics. He loves to be the center of attention and show off his zoomies. Remy is full of energy and brings the party wherever he goes. He would be the perfect adventure buddy for an active family who wants a more compact canine companion. Remy weighs about 6lbs now, and we estimate he will be around 15-20lbs when fully grown. Remy came to us from a local shelter after he was found as a stray with a fractured leg. We were able to partner with the UC Davis Fracture Program to get him all fixed up, and now he is healed and ready for action! Remy is an absolute blast to hang out with, and he provides endless entertainment with his loud personality and love of fun. He has lots of opinions and isn't afraid to let them be heard, so apartment life wouldn't be the best fit for him. He loves to race around and play tug and has learned the joy of food puzzles. His new family will need to be prepared to keep his busy mind and body occupied with lots of physical and mental stimulation. He is still working on all of his basic manners and needs a family committed to helping him learn and be the best boy he can be. Remy loves other dogs and would be a great wrestling buddy for another small/medium playful dog. He hasn't met cats before, but could do well with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Remy could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 10 years and older. Remy is still working on his housetraining, but is making great progress. His new family will need to be patient with him and be consistent about taking him outside and rewarding him for pottying outside. Remy has been doing well being left for short periods in his pen and sleeping through the night in his crate. He would do best with a family who can be home with him often and not have to leave him alone for long periods. Remy is such an amazing little puppy, and he deserves a family just as wonderful as him. If you think that might be you, submit an adoption application today! Remy's adoption fee is $400. Apply to adopt here! https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/ Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org) It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. Adopt Remy and Receive Remy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Remy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Remy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Remy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Remy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Remy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Remy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Remy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Remy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
