About this Dog
Even if you don't like candy, you will love Snickers! Snickers is a 2-year-old cutie who is as sweet as can be. She is at the perfect age where she still has the energy to play, but also could spend all afternoon lounging on the couch with her favorite people. She is past the crazy puppy phase and is a gentle girl ready for her fur-ever family. Snickers weighs 14lbs. Snickers was found as a stray with a puppy in Woodland and was brought to the Yolo County Animal Shelter. The puppy was assumed to be hers and was quickly adopted. Being on the shy side, Snickers was overlooked by adopters at the shelter so we decided to make her a YCSPCA dog and she has been thriving in her foster home ever since. Snickers can be shy when meeting new people, but she has come to learn that new people mean tasty treats and she gets braver every day. She seems to be particularly cautious of men, so needs a home with at least one woman for her to bond to. Once you become Snickers's friend, she will become your little shadow that will follow you wherever you go always eager for some attention. She also loves to play and will frequently raid the toy basket for the best toys. Snickers loves other dogs and has become BFFs with the black lab in her foster home. We think she would do best in a home with another playful dog to help build her confidence. Snickers currently lives with cats and could do well in a forever home with dog-savvy cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Due to her shy personality, Snickers would do best in a home with kids 14 years old or older. Snickers has been doing great with her housetraining, but will occasionally still have accidents. Her new family will need to be patient with her while she is learning and be okay with some accidents until she has settled into her new routine. Snickers sleeps through the night in bed with her foster parents. Snickers has done well being left alone with the other dogs in the home but may need some time to acclimate to being home alone if she is the only dog in the home. Snickers can be nervous in new environments and can try and escape when anxious. Due to this, she is not a good fit to live in an apartment and needs a secure yard and a family that will be vigilant about keeping her safe until she settles in. Snickers is such a darling girl who is going to make the best companion for the perfect family. If you think that might be you, submit an adoption application today! Snickers's adoption fee is $250. Apply to adopt here! https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/ Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org) It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. Adopt Snickers and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Snickers's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Snickers's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Snickers, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Snickers's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Snickers was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Snickers’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Snickers’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Snickers’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
