About this Dog
**This is a courtesy post. Teddy is NOT a YCSPCA animal - we are posting him to help his owners rehome him. All adoption inquiries will be sent to his owners.** **We cannot guarantee Teddy is allergy-friendly.** Teddy is an adorable 8-year-old fluffball in need of a new home. While his family loves him, his owner is elderly, and he has become a tripping hazard. They are hoping to find him a home where he can be showered with love and treated like the prince he is. He is fully grown and weighs about 11lbs. Teddy is a well-mannered boy who loves making new friends and being out and about. He would be a great first dog for someone who wants an easy-going companion. He is a total social butterfly and is happy to make friends wherever he goes. Teddy has done well living with other dogs and cats. He has done great meeting kids and could be a wonderful addition to a family with kids 5 years and older. Teddy is not fully housetrained, but does well wearing a belly band. With frequent potty breaks, consistent positive reinforcement, and crating him when alone, his house training has improved, but his new family should be prepared to work with him and be patient while he is learning. Teddy has done well being crated when home alone for short periods. Teddy is neutered, up-to-date with his vaccinations and monthly preventatives, and just recently had a dental. Due to his fur type, he requires frequent brushing and routine professional grooming to maintain a healthy coat. Teddy's owners are requesting potential adopters fill out a YCSPCA adoption application. It can be found on our website, yolospca.org/adopt, or by using this link, http://form.jotform.com/52017002013129 . Questions about Teddy can be emailed to [email protected]. **This is a courtesy post. Teddy is NOT a YCSPCA animal - we are posting him to help his owners rehome him. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Teddy (Courtesy Post)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teddy (Courtesy Post)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
