About this Dog
Get ready for some fun! Meet Tazzie! Tazzie is about 3 months old and is part of our Outback Litter of Australian Cattle Dog mixes. She is one of the four females and stands out as she has a black marking on her left eye that looks like she has smeared eye makeup. She is a sweet and smart girl who is looking for an active family that can keep up with her busy mind and body. Tazzie currently weighs about 10lbs, and we estimate she will be around 45lbs when fully grown. Tazzie came to us as part of a litter of puppies that were surrendered by their owners. The owners had two intact dogs, but didn't plan on having a litter of puppies. Mom is getting spayed, so no more puppies for her! The dad is a blue ticked Australian Cattle Dog, and the mom is a tricolor Australian Cattle Dog/terrier mix. The puppies have all been doing great in foster care and are looking for individual homes so they can get the one-on-one training they need. Tazzie is the life of the party of the group. There are no dull moments when Tazzie is around, and she loves to have fun and eat tasty treats. She is a confident girl who loves to explore and wrestle with his sisters. After a long day of excitement, she will finally settle into your lap for some cuddles. She would love a family who enjoys being outside just as much as she does. Tazzie is still learning all of her basic manners, so her new family will need to be dedicated to continuing her training and socialization to help her be the best girl she can be. Tazzie has done well with other dogs and could be a great active sibling for a pup who needs a wrestling buddy. She could also do well as an only dog with lots of opportunities to socialize with other dogs. Tazzie has met cats before and could do well in a forever home with dog-savvy cats. Tazzie could be a great addition to a family with kids 10 years and older. Tazzie is still working on her housetraining, but has been doing great about holding it through the night and pottying outside with frequent trips out. Her new family will need to be patient with her while she is learning and expect to work with her to help her succeed. Tazzie has been doing well being left in a pen or crate while her foster family is away for short periods during the day and overnight. Tazzie is such a fun girl, and she can't wait to start her life with her forever family! If you think that might be you, submit an adoption application today! Tazzie's adoption fee is $350. Apply to adopt here! https://form.jotform.com/52017002013129/ Applications are also available on the website (www.yolospca.org) It can take up to 3-5 business days to hear back once you have submitted an application. The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. Our adoption fees help us cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, microchip and registration, and rabies vaccination (if over 4 months of age at intake or spay/neuter) for all animals. Dogs are tested for heartworm, started on preventatives, and given a DAPP vaccination. Adult dogs are up to date on their vaccinations prior to adoption. Puppies will be current on the vaccinations appropriate to their age. The adopter is responsible for additional vaccinations as necessary after the adoption. Adopt Tazzie and Receive Tazzie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tazzie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tazzie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tazzie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tazzie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tazzie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tazzie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tazzie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tazzie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
