About this Dog
Meet Lucy!Lucy is a 5yr old LabXBoxer. She’s spayed fully vaccinated (rabies is good for 3yrs) she has recently been vetted. She’s not good with other animals of any kind, but loves people and lives with kids. She comes with all her belongings, crate, food, dog bed, leashes, collars, harness blankets, toys and more. Just needs a home where she’s the only pet and people in the home understand not all dogs want to socialize with other dogs and shouldn’t have to. She’s not a big fan of having hands in her food dish and we’ve been working on this she’s making progress, she can resource guard really yummy/fun things but is always willing to “give up” what she has for a tasty dried piece of chicken breast!! She’s obsessed with water and Loves to swim (she would swim all day if you let her and does come with her little doggy pool) and Loves to play ball but mostly keep away lol. She has lots of energy for hiking and biking and is always up for an adventure, but will also cuddle up on her dog bed for a good snooze on chill days.If you are interested in adopting Lucy, please complete our adoption application at awishforanimals.org

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lucy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lucy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lucy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lucy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
