Meet Scamp, he's an approx 10 year old Puggle/terrier mix but don't let that age fool you because he's got the personality and energy of a 3 year old. Scamp came to us from the Riverside shelter where he was overlooked and euth-listed due to his age and the way he looked. He's had surgery in the past to help fix his jaw, as the vets think he was hit by a car causing him to look the way he does now although we think his underbite gives him character. He's super affectionate and will give you a leg hug to show that he loves you. Scamp loves everyone and gets along with the dogs in his foster home. His ideal home will have someone who doesn't mind showing him all the love all the time and has a minimum 6 foot fence or lives in an apartment. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Scamp was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Scamp’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Scamp’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Scamp’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
