This 3-year-old, 10-pound bundle of love might be a Rat Terrier mix but truth be told, we’re not entirely sure what she is, other than completely adorable. With her dainty frame, charming little bobtail, and big, expressive eyes, she’s impossible not to fall for. Tansy's story is one of true rescue. She and her six babies were pulled from an overcrowded shelter with only hours to spare, as unwanted litters were being dropped off one after another. Her foster mom knew she couldn’t turn away and we’re so glad she didn’t! She blossomed into a really fun dog! Tansy is the ultimate velcro dog, she adores being close to her humans and has a heart full of love. Don’t be fooled by her petite size this little lady has hops and the spirit of an athlete! Although she is not high on energy napping is a favorite past time. Her favorite place to be is curled up next to (or on top of!) her people, making herself as small and snuggly as possible. Currently, Tansy is thriving in a loving in-home doggie daycare setting, where she gets along beautifully with other dogs after a short introduction. She’s social, affectionate, and ready to charm her way into your heart. If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly, and endlessly entertaining best friend, Tansy is your girl. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tansy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tansy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tansy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tansy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
