About this Dog
Sunny is a gentle soul with a heart full of love, waiting for her second chance at happiness. This 80-pound Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix recently turned 7 and is ready to find her forever family after spending 557 days in the shelter due to a welfare case. She truly deserves a place to call home. Though Sunny may be shy and nervous at first, beneath that quiet exterior is a calm and loving dog who is slowly opening up to the world. She’s made amazing progress, becoming more comfortable on walks and showing comfort around other dogs. Sunny has favorite cozy spots like the couch or a human bed where she enjoys her peaceful retreat. She has even initiated brief play with another dog. She is crate trained, though so laid-back that crating isn’t necessary. Quiet and rarely barking, Sunny would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can enjoy a calm, relaxed life. Could you be the special family Sunny is searching for? After waiting so long, she deserves the love and security only a caring family can provide. Let’s give this beautiful girl the happy ending she’s been waiting for! If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue website and complete an adoption application: www.icaredogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter • shots up to date • micro-chip • fecal and vet check Breeds and age are not guaranteed.

Adopt Sunny and Receive Sunny's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sunny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sunny's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sunny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sunny's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sunny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sunny’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sunny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sunny’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
