About this Dog
Ozzy Pawsbourne - Black Male X, 2 years, 60 lbs From our Classic Rocker Collection: The Story of the Unbreakable Spirit of Ozzy Pawsbourne Ozzy was on the Road to Nowhere, hit by a car and left with a dangling, infected leg in south Fresno. Picked up by a friend of dogs and rushed to the safety of the shelter, Ozzy’s life took a big turn. You Can’t Kill Rock and Roll or the spirit of Ozzy. The compassionate hearts of Labrador Rescue stepped in, got Ozzy the care he needed, got him off The Crazy Train and promised him No More Tears. Despite the trials he’s faced, Ozzy’s heart has remained open. With a wag of a tail and his gentle demeanor, Ozzy has shown a remarkable affinity for both dogs and cats, getting along with both in his foster home. He’s a smart boy who’s learned to go to the door when he needs to do his business outside, how to walk on a leash, and to sit when its meal time. Like many who have known hardship, Ozzy carries scars from his past. His humans let him down and now separation anxiety weighs heavy on his heart. His foster bother helps him with this during the day as both play and dig in the backyard. At night, he loves to sleep at the foot of the bed, where he can hear his foster and know that he is not alone. Ozzy’s heart screams I Just Want You. He has an extreme fondness for cuddles and loves to give kisses. He has warmed the hearts of all who have met him. In every wag of his tail and every kiss he gives, Ozzy teaches us that even in our darkest moments, there is hope. He’s a Believer. Ozzy is available for adoption through the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. He is a very sweet boy who is happy, loving and just wants to please and be loved. He is an ideal family dog and would be a great addition to a family with dog savvy children or with a retired family. He would love to be with a four-legged buddy. He has been responding well to housetraining and is learning basic commands. He is a great walking companion and loves to play fetch, and beyond that, just wants to be with his human friends.
