About this Dog
Milo Sr. – Fox Red Male, 9 years, 62 lbs. Milo Sr. is part of our vintage collection - a mild mannered, easy going, friendly lovable chap. This senior boy had a loving home for his entire life, raised inside and house trained, he’s an easy going fellow looking for a nice home to live out his senior years. He loves to snuggle and has found that sleeping on the bed with his foster mom suits him perfectly. Milo Sr. has plenty of pep in his step, and he still loves a game of fetch, enjoys chewing a good toy, chasing other dogs, and a long walk suits him well. He has great leash manners. He gets along with dogs of all sizes and has learned to also respect and co-exist with four house cats.Milo Sr. is currently managing moderate cognitive canine disorder (dementia). Initially, he came to us overmedicated, but after careful adjustments, he's made significant progress on his new medication. While he experiences occasional nighttime confusion and agitation ('sundowners' syndrome), his condition is manageable with patience and understanding. Milo Sr. can still enjoy a happy life as your buddy - he just needs some special accommodation to live his best life and someone willing to give him comfort and stability to live out his senior years. Adopt Milo Sr. and Receive Milo Sr.'s Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Milo Sr.'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Milo Sr.'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Milo Sr., thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Milo Sr.'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Milo Sr. was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Milo Sr.’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Milo Sr.’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Milo Sr.’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
