Hi there, Iâm Sweetie! A wise old husky lady with a soft heart and a slower pace these days. Don't let my age fool you! Iâve still got plenty of tail wags left. I may not race or run around like I used to, but I still enjoy my daily walks. I take my time now, sniffing all the interesting things the world has to offer. I'm calm on the leash for the most part (other than the quick energy boost I may randomly get!). I just like to stroll beside you, soaking in the sunshine and the company. My favorite moments, though? Cuddles. I'm a total softie. Iâll nuzzle my head into your lap or curl up beside you, content just to feel close. If you scratch behind my ears or rub my belly, Iâll close my eyes and sigh... pure bliss. Iâve got a few creaky joints and I nap more than I used to, but Iâm still full of love, loyalty, and the kind of quiet companionship only time can teach. If youâve got a warm spot on the couch and room in your heart, I promise Iâll be your best girl.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and SWEETIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, SWEETIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the SWEETIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, SWEETIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
