Introducing this gorgeous brindle girl, Riley, to you! She is 11 months old, weighing in at about 33 lbs. She will probably be 40-45 lbs fully grown. You'll notice that she is missing her left eye. We had to have it removed as she had quite severe glaucoma and it could not be saved. The vets say that the other eye is fine and shows no signs of the same issue and requires no medication. We think she looks like a gorgeous pirate. Riley is an active dog and will need an active family to keep her exercised and happy. Riley is crate trained and smart, friendly and playful. She has some growing to do and like all puppies will need some further training. She is potty trained to pads. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Riley The Pirate was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Riley The Pirate’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Riley The Pirate’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Riley The Pirate’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
