About this Dog
This beautiful girl is Chia. She is a 1-year-old, 49.5-lb, black and white, mixed breed dog. We do not DNA test and frankly, I am not great at guessing. She is a very friendly and playful girl who is young enough to have a whole lot of learning left to do but has already seen some of the harsher side of what life has to offer. When you look through her photos you will understand that I was choosing which photos I thought were the best ones to post (so many made the cut) and then watching her videos that, (ahem) it wasn't until the 2nd video that I saw and remembered that she is a tripawd dog. YES, the 2nd video I watched!!!Now you can go ahead and make fun of me if you want but I feel fairly confident that right up until you read this information some of you looked through all her photos and videos and are now in disbelief that you didn't notice either, and will go back to watch again. Honestly she was running so fast that all I saw at first were the strange markings on her right side and was happy that she was healthy enough to be cruising around that court running like the wind! Then I saw that she was on 3 legs and I started to laugh because I knew that I, a seasoned watcher of dog videos, missed it the first time. So, when I tell you that missing a leg doesn't seem to bother her at all, I do sincerely mean just that. Chia is a very friendly, smart and playful girl. She is used to living with other dogs and would love to go out walking or hiking or running with you, or your kids. She would probably be up for almost any kind of athletic endeavor or relationship building exercises you have in mind. I'd keep it on the ground if I were you - I'm not sure how she'd feel about skydiving, and definitely no boxing, but maybe some yoga - you saw her balance when she was running right? Maybe you aren't a runner or hiker or walker? That's cool, maybe a nice fenced back yard for her exercise every day? That would work too.All our dogs will come to you spayed and fully vetted. You can fill out our adoption application form at https://www.4dogsfarmrescue.org/adoption

Adopt Chia The Tripod and Receive Chia The Tripod's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chia The Tripod's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Chia The Tripod's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Chia The Tripod, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Chia The Tripod's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chia The Tripod was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chia The Tripod’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chia The Tripod’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chia The Tripod’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
