About this Cat
FOSTER OR ADOPT: Meet Caspian, a very sweet stray kitty who has been living outside an apartment complex, being fed and cared for by a kind neighbor. We’re looking for a foster or adopter who can help us get Caspian safely indoors. Caspian is friendly and talkative, and he knows his name -- he responds to “Caspi!" He clearly was someone’s pet in the past as he loves human attention. He does great with dogs (he follows the neighbor around when she walks her dogs); we don’t know if he has been around children. He may be a bit skittish at first and will need time to adjust to a new home. Caspian's guardian shares, "He is one of the sweetest kitties I’ve ever met! He is shy at first but when he opens up he shows how much he loves affection. He runs to greet you and loves to rub on your legs and follow you around. Caspian purrs when he eats and “kneads” his paws on the ground with happiness when you talk to him. He is very playful and loves toys!" Caspian was born in approximately March 2023. All Angus & Friends cats are healthy, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. For more information about fostering or adopting Caspian, please text Deborah at 510-909-4961 (or leave a message) or email her at [email protected].

100% of Caspian's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Caspian.
Adopt Caspian and Receive Caspian's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Caspian's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Caspian's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Caspian, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Caspian's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Caspian was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Caspian’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Caspian’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Caspian’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
