Garland is an smart, loving shepherd who wants to cuddle you! She has done great on outings to the pier, the beach, and on hikes in foster. Garland has proven to be both attentive and affectionate, and follows basic commands very well. March is @aspca Pet Poison Prevention month - so our friends at Deeply Rooted Camarillo put together some plants that are beautiful for your home, and safe should your pet get into them by mistake. Please keep in mind that any plant material may still upset your petâs tummy, even if they are non-toxic! Garland is a 4 year old shepherd awaiting a home in the shelter. We were so impressed with how sweet, engaged and intelligent she is - she quickly figured out that we needed her attention for this video, and listened to all commands perfectly. She is an active pup who is also affectionate - she loved being pet by owner Kristen and enjoys love at the shelter too! Garland might be happiest as the only dog at home, but is open to slow intros and playing with other large dogs. She is looking for a home without small animals. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *GARLAND was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *GARLAND’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *GARLAND’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *GARLAND’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
