So very nice to meet you, my name is Tess! I'm a spayed, 4 month old, Shepherd/Border Collie mix that currently weighs 14 lbs. I'm still a growing young lady and could reach between 35 to 45lbs. as an adult. I'm an active and curious little lady that enjoys meeting new people and getting some nice scratches behind the ears. My friends at PHS say I'm energy personified; I'm still learning how to play with toys, but I absolutely adore the game of chase. I love to share my opinions with anyone who will listen, so they like to call me vocal (whatever that means). I'm still learning proper dog etiquette so I would love to go to classes with my new family. I hope to grow up to be a well-rounded canine citizen. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tess the Puppy! was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tess the Puppy!’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tess the Puppy!’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tess the Puppy!’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
