About this Dog
Hello Friends! My name is Junior, I'm a neutered, 1-year-old, pit bull/boxer mix who currently weighs around 53 lbs. but will most likely be about 60 to 70 lbs. as an adult. I'm an energetic boy that loves running full speed whenever I can! I will bound right into your heart with my adorable antics and rambunctious personality. Since I am a big boy that tends to be on the exuberant side, I would do best in a home with dog-savvy kids aged 6+. I'm a smart boy that already has solid "sit" skills, but I am still working on my leash skills (I'm just so excited). Zoomies and rope toys are my absolute faves! If you are looking for a playful, goofy new friend that can't wait to get outside and have all the fun, please stop by and say hi. Just ask Customer Service about Junior! ID# A953695 I recently went on a hike with a PHS volunteer! Here's how I did: I've had good outings with Junior in the last couple of weeks. He is a very sweet and playful pup. He loves to romp and chase toys. He can be a bit awkward about petting (doesn't always seem to enjoy it and gets mouthy/aroused easily). I've been slowly introducing consent petting during play in the yard (I only continue if he is clearly enjoying/soliciting more petting and keeping arousal levels low). It's been going great and he now seems to enjoy full body petting. Good boy!

Adopt Junior and Receive Junior's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Junior's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Junior's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Junior, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Junior's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Junior was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Junior’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Junior’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Junior’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
