About this Cat
Meet Janet, the spunky tortie of our âThreeâs Companyâ litter.Sheâs curious, adventurous, a tad sassy, and a bit aloof.Janet loves food. She also loves her siblingsâ food. And sheâll happily eat it if they take too long. After all, canât let it go to waste!Like most torties we know, sheâs quirky. She learned to trust humans based on watching her siblings, but sometimes sheâll do this âfainting goatâ thing where she sort of rolls or flops away from us but usually settles into pets. (She remains undecided on belly rubs, however.) But she was the first to discover the heating pad and is more than content to relax and nap there if one of her siblings isnât around. Or if another cat has claimed it first, sheâll sometimes snuggle with one of the resident cats or even a human. But maybe our favorite thing about her are her tiny bleps when she wakes up.Janet loves to hang out with our resident cats and is getting more used to human attention, and overall, she is a very energetic kitten and would love to be adopted with one of her siblings, Chrissy (A132474) or Jack (A132475), or be adopted by a family that already has a playful cat to join in the fun with her. Janet has no experience with dogs or children, and since she is the shyest of the group, we think a home with respectful older children would be ok.If Janetâs tortitude matches your lifestyle, and you would like to learn more about her, please contact her foster mom, Mayra, at [email protected]. With your inquiry, please include some information about your household, experience, and other pets, as well as any questions you might have for us.
Contribute to *JANET's Stash!

100% of *JANET's balance will be sent to whoever adopts *JANET.
Adopt *JANET and Receive *JANET's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *JANET's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is *JANET's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the *JANET, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *JANET's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *JANET was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *JANET’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *JANET’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *JANET’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
