Honda Days (Approx DOB: 7.20.24) is a friendly and affectionate cat, though he is also very shy. He is sweet and enjoys being pet but only after you have earned his trust. He tends to run away when approached, but he always comes out during feeding time and is very food motivated; He will even allow you to pet him while he is eating. He can be picked up and cuddled sometimes but it’s not his favorite thing. Honda has a lot of love to give but he needs an adopter who will offer him time, patience, and extra attention to help him build confidence and come out of his shell. It may take several months, but he is capable of making progress over time. The rewarding bond that can be formed between a shy cat and the person who dedicates their time to forming that bond with them is a really amazing thing. This kitty would not thrive in an active household or around small children; so, a quiet environment is ideal for him to feel secure and gain confidence. He gets along well with other cats but does not enjoy dogs. This kitty has joined our adoption center located inside of Petsmart at 5879 Lone Tree Way in Brentwood CA. Viewing available anytime during store hours however meet & greets and adoptions take place between 12-4pm daily. To meet any of our adoption center kitties you must have an approved application on file. You can fill one out in store by speaking to a petcare associate or you can be pre-approved online by going to www.catsupport.net and clicking on the “apply to adopt”. Filling out an adoption application is not a promise that you will adopt that animal nor does it guarantee your right to adopt. It is simply a questionnaire for our matching process. All of our kitties are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for any external or internal parasites.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Honda Days was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Honda Days’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Honda Days’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Honda Days’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
