About this Dog
Clarence, nicknamed Clarebear, is 4 and a half years old and 30 lbs. Sociable to people. He is a busy, strong, and active boy who loves to run, so he will need someone that can keep up with him. He uses the big beagle howl! He's mingled well with the other dogs here. Not good with cats. He hasn't lived with children before and would do best in an adult home. His owner sadly had to give him up due to her serious illness requiring medical equipment. He was with a foster a few months and was given to us because of all of his barking. Also, we were told he'd been nervous since his owner got sick. He should improve in a patient, loving home where he has a stable routine. He has only barked at B&B when he wants to come inside at the end of a nice day in the sunshine out front. He does like to sleep quietly and very politely with his special person. Very handsome and much loved dear boy!
