About this Dog
Foster or Forever home wanted!!!! Meet Yogi Bear!!! Yogi Bear entered the shelter in early December 2024 as a stray with wounds to his face and legs, likely from a dog attack. He sat in the shelter during the stray hold period hoping his family would come for him. Sadly, his family never came. Being your typical, older black dog in an overcrowded shelter, things weren't looking good for Yogi Bear. Well, this boy is right in our wheelhouse so he took his freedom ride from the shelter straight to our vet to get the vet care he needed. Yogi Bear's past is just that. He's all fixed up and ready to start his new life with a family to love him. The volunteers are still getting to know him but so far think he’s a special guy. Yogi Bear would love to break out of boarding and get into a home. He is in need of a foster or better yet, a forever home. Yogi Bear is a sweet gentle soul about 7 years old and 75 pounds. Yogi Bear is looking for a simple life with some walks, cuddles, a nice warm bed inside, a little sunshine outside and most importantly a family to help him feel safe and loved again. If Yogi Bear sounds like the right dog for your home, email [email protected] or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org. Yogi Bear is located in Southern California.

Adopt Yogi Bear and Receive Yogi Bear's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Yogi Bear's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Yogi Bear's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Yogi Bear, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Yogi Bear's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Yogi Bear was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Yogi Bear’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Yogi Bear’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Yogi Bear’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
