About this Cat
Sally is a five year old spayed domestic shorthair female. She is very talkative. She began life as a feral but turned up on my front porch when she was still a kitten. She is exceptionally affectionate and would stay in your lap all day if you kept still, and will sleep with you all night. She purrs at the drop of a hat. Unfortunately, she doesn't get along with other cats. She's the smallest of my three kits and feels as if she needs to over own her territory. Read: she pees outside the litter box at times. But I'm certain that that behavior would be curbed once she is separated from from her mortal enemy "Mila," one of my other cats. She recently got her rabies and FVRCP vaccines. She'll make a wonderful companion for someone who wants a dedicated, loving pet.

How will Sally receive the contribution?

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sally was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sally’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Sally’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sally’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
