Say hello to handsome Bear. We like to call him Mr Bear. Bear may be middle-aged but he is a playful and loving young guy. Bear loves to play with toy wands and mouse toys. He also loves his scratching posts and basking in bright sunny areas of the house. He is the most lovable and affectionate cat! He loves to be brushed and loves to be pet. If you put your hand out Bear will put his paw in yours. What a smart fella! He will roll on his back and expect some belly rubs. If you are looking for a loving and affectionate cat, Mr. Bear is your guy! Bear will do well in a calm home. Bear is close to his foster friend Ruby . They would be a nice adoptive pair. He hasn’t been around children, but gentle kids age 9 years and up will probably be fine. He also gets along nicely with other cats. His birth date is estimated to be April 2018. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bear was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bear’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bear’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bear’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
