Feather is a sweet and playful girl who was found in the street by herself when she was just 5 weeks-old. She loves to chase and wrestle with her foster friends. She also enjoys being around people and will sleep next to an available human. As you can see she is the cutest! Feather gets along with other cats and should be fine with kids age 7 years and up. She needs another cat in her home. Adoption with another playful young cat to keep her company would be great – Denim and Corduroy are good friends of hers. Or an existing kitty. She may accept a mellow dog with a slow introduction. Her estimated birth date is March 21, 2025. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Feather was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Feather’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Feather’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Feather’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
