About this Cat
Arkansas River Valley.
Poppy is just now 7 months old. I would keep her but I already have 4 indoor cats. She is very affectionate, loves to play. When she chases her string toy she does amazing flips. She will jump up and spend time on your lap, very gentle. I have been taking care of her since the end of March when she somehow got into my garage.
She does NOT like other cats and would do well in a house as the only pet and no young children. She really needs her own home. She is in an extra room in my house and I take her out two times a day for one on one play and cuddles. She is alone too much. I really need to find her a home.
She has been spayed, vaccinated (not due again until next April). She will come with her litter box and her favorite toys. Please consider Poppy, I will be so happy for her to find her own human. My other cats are not getting enough of my time. I am returning to college classes in a week. It is very hard for me to take care of 5 cats. She desperately needs her own home. Please consider Poppy. My email is: [email protected]

Adopt Poppy and Receive Poppy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Poppy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Poppy receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Poppy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Poppy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Poppy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Poppy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Poppy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Poppy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
