About this Dog
7/30 Still available 6/22 Meet Darla. This pretty girl was dumped back in April. We know she was dumped because some construction workers witnessed it. Sadly, Darla appeared to be a recent mama, but her puppies weren't dumped with her. So on top of the confusion of being dumped by the people she loved, she also had the added confusion of suddenly missing her babies. Darla is now in a foster home, healing from the emotional trauma she was forced to endure. Despite it all, Darla is loving and good natured. She is a little timid with new people/surroundings at first, understandably. Once she knows she is safe, she has SO much love to give. She is currently in a foster home with 2 kids, 3 cats, and 4 dogs, and she loves them all. She is very gentle with everyone and only wants to be loved. And she deserves it, after all she's been through. She is totally house trained and crate trained. She needs a little work on the leash. She doesn't pull on it, but its scary to her, so she pancakes. She just needs to build some confidence, and that will come. Darla is looking for a kind, understanding family who will help her build confidence and feel secure in her place in the family. She needs reassurance that she won't ever be abandoned again. She is fully vetted, about 2 years old, and weighs 37 lbs.Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Adopt Darla and Receive Darla's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Darla's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Darla's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Darla, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Darla's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Darla was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Darla’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Darla’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Darla’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
