About this Dog
Poppy was picked up near 33rd st and 6 Ave on Tuesday, Sept 15.She had her PACC chip number read at a vet's and then was driven to Humane Society, but it was too late to turn her in there. I was at Humane society for a dog club meeting and program and volunteered to take the dog to PACC on wednesday. I called PACC., they gave me contact numbers and an owner first name for poppy. None of my messages and texts have been answered. I have put the word out on her but no luck. Shw is an awesome dog, v friendly crate trained, no skin or apparent health issues. Maybe 2 yrs old going by teeth and energy level. Sits, shakes paws, v responsive. Gets along with other dogs. . She will have to go to PACC tomorrow, Sunday if she can't be placed.

How will Poppy receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Poppy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Poppy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Poppy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Poppy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Poppy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Poppy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
