About this Dog
Spayed | House-Trained It breaks my heart to say this, but Harley needs a new home as soon as possible. She’s a beautiful, intelligent, and loving German Shepherd who deserves a fresh start with a family that can give her the time and space she needs to thrive. Harley is about 3–4 years old, spayed, house-trained, and was vaccinated when I adopted her a year ago. She’s incredibly smart and picks up on commands quickly—she loves learning and being with her people. When I first brought her home, she lived peacefully with my other dog and a cat. She’s also been around birds and horses without issues. But over time she’s had a couple of altercations with my other dog during play, and I can no longer keep them separated 24/7. For her happiness and safety, Harley needs to be in a home with no other pets (at least for now) while she gets the structure and training she deserves. She just needs the right home to help her succeed.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Harley was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Harley’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Harley’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Harley’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
