About this Cat
Lucinda was born in a homeless man’s car two years ago. Taken in by a little old lady when she was two weeks old (along with her 4 litter mates and mama). She has been well cared for, well fed, and is a healthy, happy and affectionate cat (has been spayed)
Lucinda has enjoyed being an indoor cat with the freedom to go outside whenever she wants. She has lived in a quiet neighborhood along with her mama and siblings. She also gets along with other neighbors cats and lounges around with them in their yards. The little old lady has had some health issues and needs to relocate and can’t take her cats.
Lucy would like to be with a quiet person. Someone who would give her good things to eat and someone to snuggle with. Not sure how she would be with small children.

How will Lucinda receive the contribution?

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lucinda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lucinda’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Lucinda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lucinda’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
