Hello, I'm Sammy. As a kitten, I had a home, but thenI was abandoned in the desert by my people. It was a scary and confusing experience, but a kind man saw what was happening and rescued me. He brought me to live in his tent, where I felt safe and loved. I lived with him for 2 years Living in the desert wasn't easy, but the man took good care of me, and we formed a strong bond. Unfortunately, a few months ago, he fell ill after getting soaked in the rain while making sure I stayed dry. He refused to seek medical help until he knew I would be taken care of, which led to me being put up for adoption. I'm an adorable kitty who loves to give and receive lots of love. I prefer to be the only cat in the house, but with me around, you won't need another feline companion. I'm not a fan of dogs, but I can tolerate them as long as they keep their distance. I enjoy cozy kitty beds, clean litter boxes, fresh water, and tasty food. I recently had dental work done and had several teeth removed, but I still eat dry food with no issues. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, felv/fiv negative, dewormed, and microchipped. All that's missing is you so we can live happily ever after. My adoption fee is $80. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sammy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sammy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sammy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sammy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
