About this Dog
Meet Dallas! This 2-year-old girl is sadly being returned by her family due to issues among the pack. Dallas is from a litter rescued in September 2023. We need a foster or adopter who will commit to putting Dallas on a diet to help her shed some pounds. Dallas has been around dogs her entire life, but like most pups, she would benefit from some obedience training. She is a sweet, lovable, cuddly girl. She loves humans of all shapes and sizes, and has experience around toddlers. She is a pit chihuahua mix, and is about medium in size. We do not know how she would do with cats. We feel Dallas would do well in a household with another dog who is relaxed, lower energy, but does like to play sometimes. Please share to help find Dallas a home! If you are interested in fostering or adopting, please visit backthebluepetrescue.org and submit your information. A meet and greet, followed by a home check is required. Her adoption fee is $150. She is spayed, microchipped and we will ensure her vaccines are current. Her original story back in Sept 2023: Meet the seven amazing ‘City Kids’ - Dallas, Bronx, Philly, Lincoln, Brooklyn, Charlotte and Nashville! This litter of 7 puppies was rescue by a community member in Casa Grande. The puppies had been found in a ditch covered in garbage and debris. Based on their conditions, they had been there a while and it was obvious to the finder they had been dumped. They were starving and had various bumps, scrapes and limps from the conditions they were living in. After full health checks, xrays and antibiotics for their boo boos they settled right into foster care where they have been learning just what it means to be a puppy and to be loved! We have no history on them prior to coming into rescue and estimate them to be around 4.5 months old. We are unsure of their breed but they appear to be a Bull Terrier/Pit mix. Each puppy is unique in their coloring and markings and they are just adorable!

Adopt Dallas and Receive Dallas's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dallas's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Dallas's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dallas, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dallas's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dallas was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dallas’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dallas’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dallas’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
