About this Dog
Hi! My name is Harper. I am a loving, affectionate, and adorable 17-month-old, 82 pound Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. My favorite activities are going for walks and hikes, meeting new people and going for car rides. I love when people stop to tell me how pretty I am and I sometimes will give them my "cheesy" grin. I have had lots of training and walk nicely on a leash both out on a trail and in town. I am pretty smart and have learned a whole bunch of basic commands. Sometimes I like to show off and do tricks - like shaking hands, spinning or rolling over. I am an indoor/outdoor kind of dog and like the room of a fenced yard but I turn into a housedog at night and enjoy snuggling up with my people. I have tried so very hard to not be a resource guarder but I guess it is part of my nature. Therefore, I am not good with other pets in the household and would love to be your "one and only".

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Harper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Harper’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Harper’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Harper’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
