About this Cat
This is Roxi. She was born under our couch from a stray that came in to eat through our doggy door frequently. We didn't know she was pregnant. She had Roxi and Monarch, her twin brother. She is a sweetheart and good with all the other cats and the dog here in our home. Also friendly to children. She doesn't have any health issues and receives her shots here at home. She has been fixed. She loves to sleep with us on our bed and suckle on the blanket. Roxi is indoor/outdoor backyard only. We started to try and get the cat population under control when we noticed allot of strays in our neiborhood. My husband and I started to catch and release the strays in our neiborhood to be spayed/neutered. That has turned into a rescue, since someone in our neiborhood was shooting the cats. A bill that we spent well over $5000 for when our personal pet cat was shot twice. Found 2 more strays shot as well. Unfortunately we are now up to 13 and can not provide the care that they all individually need. Yes they are safe and fed and I do give them shots, but I can't afford more vet bills. Nor the one on one love that they deserve. I'm in over my head and $11,000 in debt for a few of them in vet bills this year. Please help give this beautiful girl a forever and loving home.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Roxi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roxi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roxi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Roxi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roxi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
