Meet Pupcicle! Pupcicle is a three-months-old, nine-pounds Dachshund mix puppy who came to Chi Town Rescue along with his mama, Sundae. His mama was originally found as a pregnant stray in Mexico and taken in by a rescue there. We help out from time to time when this rescue is full and we agreed to take in Sundae and her now three-months-old little boy, Pupcicle. Pupcicle is still a baby, but he has a full-grown personality! Pupcicle love, love, loves to be on the go and is a vocal little guy. He loves to run and play, wrestle and romp! Toys are the best and especially chew toys that he can sharpen his puppy baby shark teeth on. ;-) Pupcicle also loves cuddles and pets. He's happy for any and all attention you can give him. He will thrive in a home that has plenty of time to spend with him and realizes that puppies need patience and training (potty! leash! manners!) to grow up to be the best adult doggies they can be. Pupcicle is smart and already knows how to "sit" on command. He would love to learn more in his forever home. Bring the whole family in and come say hello to PUPcicle! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pupcicle was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pupcicle’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pupcicle’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pupcicle’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
