About this Dog
Meet Mr. Pickles... he's kinda a big dill around here. ;-) Mr. Pickles is an approximately three-year-old, 16-pound male Chihuahua mix, looking for his forever home through Chi Town Rescue. Pickles was found as a stray by a local business, and we agreed to take him in. He wasn't wearing a collar or tag and didn't have a microchip. Attempts to locate his owner were unsuccessful, so Pickles is on the search for a forever family this time around! Pickles is a social dog who enjoys meeting new people and getting pets. We will say that the pets are on HIS terms, though! Pickles, just like his namesake, can be both salty and sweet. He will sometimes give a growl when being pet to let you know that he's done, thanks very much. Pickles also does not like being picked up or reached for too suddenly. Because of these quirks, we feel Pickles will do best in an adult-only home with an experienced owner. Pickles is also dog-social and enjoys running around the yard and playing with his dog pals. Pickles has a moderate energy level overall and would love to do some active things with you, then curl up for a nap. Does Pickles sound like the flavor you've been looking for in a new canine buddy? Email [email protected] for more information/meet and greet appointment! Mr. Pickle's adoption fee includes neuter surgery, vaccinations up to date including Rabies certificate, and microchip.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mr. Pickles's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Mr. Pickles's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Mr. Pickles, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mr. Pickles's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mr. Pickles was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mr. Pickles’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mr. Pickles’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mr. Pickles’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
