Meet Paloma Paloma is a sweet and playful girl, about 5 years old, who has been waiting far too long for her forever home. Since December 2021, she has spent most of her days in a kennel, but now she’s ready to leave that life behind and find a loving family to call her own. Although Paloma is deaf, that doesn’t slow her down at all. She loves toys and is always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. An adventure buddy at heart, she enjoys car rides, hikes, and long walks. When it’s time to relax, Paloma is all about cuddles, kisses, and sharing her big heart with her people. She even has a soft spot for ice cream and cooling off in the water on warm days. Paloma is housetrained, non-destructive, and pretty chill at home. She thrives with structure and love. She is not reactive to other dogs on walks but would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the attention. Older kids (12+) are recommended to provide a calm and comfortable environment for this special girl. After all this time, Paloma is ready to leave her kennel days behind and join a family where she can enjoy a cozy bed, plenty of playtime, and endless love. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Paloma (Courtesy post) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Paloma (Courtesy post)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Paloma (Courtesy post)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Paloma (Courtesy post)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
