Bio: Hi! We are Lucy and Carina. Lucy is the little black kitty with a delicate face and sweet disposition. I'm Carina, the tabby. We've been together for the last 2 years when we were adopted by a very lovely lady. Unfortunately, she passed away recently from cancer. We've been very sad, but we're coming along nicely with all the changes. Our foster Mom says we were a blessing to our Mom and gave her lots of love and companionship through a very difficult time. So while we've been sad and confused by all the changes, we are ready to love again. We both love to sit and be petted. In fact, we are purrfect companion cats. Our previous owner's dying wish was for us to be adopted together. We are putting it out to the universe that her wish can be granted. We would do well in a quiet household as the only cats. We have plenty of toys and like a little play. Or rather, we like watching our foster Mom bounce toys around. We also have our own special blanket and bed. So here we are purrfectly ready to fulfill our next mission as companions to the next wonderful person! We’re both up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, spayed and microchipped. Our adoption fee is $200.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Carina (adopt with Lucy) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Carina (adopt with Lucy)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Carina (adopt with Lucy)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Carina (adopt with Lucy)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
