About this Dog
Meet Chimichanga – The Mellow Giant 175 lbs of love | Brindle Mastiff | Dog-Friendly | Volunteer Favorite Chimichanga is an absolutely stunning, 175-pound brindle Mastiff who has earned the nickname “The Mellow Giant” for a reason. This gentle soul was found as a stray in Stockton, and it didn’t take long for everyone at the shelter to completely fall in love with him. With his calm demeanor and heart of gold, Chimichanga quickly became a volunteer favorite. He has a lovely, middle-of-the-road temperament—easygoing, social, and steady. Chimichanga gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is friendly with everyone he meets. He walks well on a leash, though with his size and strength, he’ll need someone familiar with handling large breed dogs—especially when he decides he wants to check out something interesting in the other direction! This big-hearted boy would do best in a home with kids over the age of five, simply due to his size. He’s looking for a family who will treat him like the gentle king he is and include him in the love and daily life he deserves. Chimichanga is currently with AZ Mastiff Rescue. To learn more or apply to adopt, visit: www.azmastiffrescue.com Chimi is ready to bring calm, joy, and a whole lot of cuddles to his forever home. Could that be yours?

Adopt Chimichanga and Receive Chimichanga's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chimichanga's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Chimichanga's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Chimichanga, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Chimichanga's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chimichanga was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chimichanga’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chimichanga’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chimichanga’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
